Connie Jo Causby

Connie Jo Causby, 75, of Marion, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord at Mission Hospital in Asheville on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

She was born on September 28, 1947 to the late Clarence “Bill” Causby and Sarah Clark Causby. Her brother, Gary Causby, also precedes her in death.

Connie was a resident of East Court Group Care for the majority of her adult life. She loved laughing and making others laugh as well. Though she had disabilities of her own, Connie never failed to see others just as they are. She always looked forward to and enjoyed Special Day for Special People. She attended Bethel Baptist Church when she was able.

She is survived by her longtime caregiver of over 50 years, Louise Church (Harold) and her daughters and grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Upton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marion Moose Lodge for the Special Day for Special People Fund.
