Clifford Ray McKinney

Clifford Ray McKinney, 61, of Union Mills, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Clifford was born on September 22,1965 in Catawba County to Donald McKinney and Doris Styles McKinney who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Dale McKinney.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and sitting by the fire. One of his hobbies was collecting tool boxes. Clifford was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family who will miss him greatly.

Those left to cherish Clifford are his wife, Gwendolyn McKinney; children, Steven McKinney, Jerry Baughman (Andrea), and Brandon Baughman (Amber); his nephew who he considers a son, Kyle McKinney (Destiny); sister, Kim Ledford (Randy); seven grandchildren, Shyanne, Brittany, Dakota, Tyler, Weston, Carter and Paisley; four great grandchildren, Thea, Bowen, Charlotte and Isla.

A private interment will take place at McKinney Gap Cemetery.
