Clifford Glenn Henderson

Clifford Glenn Henderson, Sr., 86, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away at Rutherford Regional Hospital on the morning of, Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Clifford was born May 12, 1936 in Madison Co. to the late David Henderson and Katie Davis Henderson.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee Simmons Henderson.

He was known as a hardworking man who was a jack of all trades.  Clifford loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Bridget McClellan (Randy), Junior Henderson, Chris Henderson, Tina Henderson, Sam Henderson, Sheila Schlosser (Pete), Eddie Henderson (Rhonda) and Charlie Henderson; sisters, Ruth Maines and Loraine McClellan; a brother, Troy Henderson; fifteen grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm with the Revs. Chad Sisk and Bill Alley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will take place following the service at Wilson Baptist Church Cemetery.
