Christopher Lee VanDyke

Christopher Lee VanDyke passed away on the morning of Sunday, October 16, 2022 at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Burke County.

Christopher was born on April 12, 1969 in Burke County to the late Jerry Lee VanDyke and Mary Evelyn White VanDyke. He was an avid golfer He also loved the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Tarheels. Christopher formally helped with the McDowell Titans Booster Club and was a member of a number of NC appraisal organizations. Christopher was a loving son, brother and uncle and was known as a good friend to everyone he met.

Along with his mother, he is survived by a brother Jason VanDyke (Tonia); nieces, Avery VanDyke, Emma VanDyke and Graycen VanDyke along with a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
