Christopher Melvin Ward

Christopher Melvin Ward, 58, of Conway, SC passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his residence.

Christopher was born in McDowell County on October 27, 1964 to the late Oscar Melvin Ward and the late Virginia Ann Hollifield Ward. He was known as a very humble and kind man who was always doing for others before himself. One of his enjoyments was fast cars. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Preceding him in death including his parents are his daughter, Christina Jean Ledford and a brother-in-law Charles Conner.

Left to cherish his memory is Jerry “Coco” Hooper; his sisters Gail Conner and Kaye Mills (Jack), along with a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
