Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes, age 37, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at his residence.  A native of McDowell County, North Carolina, born November 15, 1979, he was the son of Darryl Hughes and Tammy Laughter Hughes, both of Morganton.

Chris was known to have made the best of everything he was involved in.  He attended Freedom High School. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Sarah Sigmon of Nebo; and three sisters, Shannon Hughes, Darlene Hughes and Crystal Hughes.

A private service for Mr. Hughes will be held at a later date.
