Chloejane Love Doan

October 1, 2012 — April 27, 2026

Marion

It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Chloejane Love Doan, a cherished young soul whose presence touched the hearts of many. Born on October 1, 2012, in Greeneville, Tennessee, Chloejane faced life’s challenges with an indomitable spirit and unwavering courage. Despite being born with congenital heart problems and numerous physical hardships, she lived every moment with a zest for life that inspired all who knew her.

Chloejane was a true adventurer at heart, embracing all things filled with speed and excitement. Her resilience was remarkable; she was, as many affectionately called her, a “tough cookie,” overcoming hurdles no child should have to face. Through her struggles, she demonstrated a strength and determination beyond her years, continually pushing forward with grace and a smile.

She attended the North Carolina School for the Deaf, a place where she found community and support that fostered her vibrant spirit. Even amidst her medical battles, Chloejane’s enthusiasm for life never waned. Now, she is at peace—running freely, playing joyfully, free from sickness and pain, unburdened by medications and afflictions that once held her back. It is imagined that she is speaking freely and delighting in all the tastes she was once restricted from enjoying.

Chloejane passed away on April 27, 2026, at Levine Children’s Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of courage, joy, and perseverance. Her life, rare and precious, was a beacon of strength and hope, touching the hearts of family and friends alike.

Included among those who hold her memory dear are Melinda Donald, Alexis Scalia, Kerigan Gudz, Victoria Donald, James and Elia Gouge, Lindsey Trivett, Jamie Snell, and Tracy Ball. They, along with many others, grieve her loss and celebrate the indelible mark she left on their lives.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, North Carolina. The funeral service will follow immediately at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In honoring Chloejane’s spirit, we remember a young girl who faced adversity with bravery and who lived her brief life to its fullest, leaving a legacy of love and resilience that will inspire all who were fortunate to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and dearly missed.
