Charles Allen "Bo" McPherson

Charles Allen “Bo” McPherson, 82, of Marion, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

He was born in Herington, Kansas on August 7, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, Martha "Marty," Barbara "Bobbie," Judy, Linda, Clarence "Chuck," and Sarah "Tiny".

Bo was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed motorcycles, and while living in Florida, he was heavily involved with the Military Veterans Motorcycle Club. He was an over-the-road truck driver. Bo loved fishing and watching football, and he was also an avid NASCAR fan, often saying to his daughters, "I love you to the moon and back, and all around the racetrack." 

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary McPherson; three daughters, Laura McPherson (Frank Poole, III), Dawna Nesbitt (Kevin), and Nikki Lewark (David); six grandchildren, Adam McPherson, Alee Carter, Ryan Nesbitt, Matthew Nesbitt, Travis Poole, and Peyton Lewark; seven great-grandchildren, Cameron, Harper, Avree, Jayce, Luke, Liam, and Briar; one sister, Joyce "Jokie" Zinkhon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned.
