Celesta Shae Johnson

Celesta Shae Johnson, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. Born on July 26, 1980, in Buncombe County, she was known for her vibrant spirit and her capacity to spread joy to those around her.

Celesta cherished all things Disney, a passion that brought laughter and happiness not only to her own life but also to the lives of her family and friends. A huge animal lover, she extended her kindness to every creature, exemplifying a deep empathy for all living beings. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister.

Her creative spirit was evident in her love for art, a hobby that allowed her to express herself and share beauty with others.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. Her parents, Billy and Carol Johnson, and her daughters, Cheyanna Johnson and Destiny Harris with her husband Aidan, will hold her memory close to their hearts. Additionally, her brother Scotty Johnson, along with her nephews Lukas Johnson and Preston Johnson, and her niece Ellie Johnson, will carry forth her legacy of love and compassion. Celesta also has two godchildren, Dradyn Hutchins and Zolton Hutchins, who will remember her as a guiding light in their lives.

A visitation to honor Celesta's life will be held on July 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752. A private family interment will follow at Cherry Springs Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Beam Funeral Service to help cover funeral expenses.

Celesta Shae Johnson will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will continue to inspire those she left behind.
