Cathy McLeod Anderson

     Cathy Mae McLeod Anderson, 62, of Morganton, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 10, 2023, after a period of declining health.

     Cathy was born in Caldwell County, NC on June 7, 1960 to the late William Milton McLeod and Irene Bedford McLeod. Cathy was very adventurous. She enjoyed the mountains and taking road trips. She loved to cook and sing, but most of all, Cathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Johna Louise McLeod; a sister, Barbara Ann Sprouse; and two brothers, John McLeod and Thomas McLeod.

     She is survived by a daughter, Caitlin Harklerode & husband Matthew; a son, Travis Anderson & wife Amber; two grandchildren, Raven and Oliver; two sisters, Phyllis Huff & husband Michael and Laura Myers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
