Brian Alexzander Crain

Brian Alexzander Crain, 22, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 in Asheville.

He was born in McDowell County on May 8, 2001. Brian had a heart of gold. He had a heart for children, and he loved to draw. He will be remembered as a strong and out-going young man who was also stubborn at times. Brian enjoyed being in the outdoors. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by an aunt, Crystal MonTee Hughes; and an uncle, Dustin Hollis.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin Brian Loftis, Jr. and Sylvia June Crain (Anthony); his son, Nikolai Crain; two siblings, Brison Loftis and Breanna Loftis; two step-sisters, Keley Smith and Jessica Loftis; his grandparents, Donna Hollis, Charles Faron Hollis, Kenneth Crain, Tammy Mejia, Daniel Mejia, and Kevin Brian Loftis, Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Rev. Don Mitchell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
