Bonita M. Glick

Bonita M. Glick, age 88, of Lake Lure, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026.

She was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on July 2, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Dr. David L. and Evelyn Greene.

Bonnie graduated from the Grier School in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and the University of Miami in 1959. She taught in four states and then sold real estate. An avid reader, she belonged to two book clubs. Also an excellent swimmer and golfer in her youth, she loved the water all her life. Bonnie was a very classy and well-dressed lady who will be remembered for her feisty and spunky personality. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Bonnie loved her adopted family immensely, and her presence will be greatly missed in their lives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving companion, Fred Sollars, and her son, Byron Rapp.

She is survived by her adopted family: daughter, Teresa Kirby, granddaughter, Caitlyn Farr (Miguel), grandson, Nathan Farr (Caiti-Mae), and great-grandchildren, Luca, Abel, Addison, and Amelia.

A time to receive friends and loved ones will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. Interment will immediately follow at Montford Cove Baptist Church Cemetery.
