Billy Joe England

     Billy Joe England, 81, of Nebo, passed away, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Charles F. George VA Medical Center in Asheville.

     Mr. England was born in McDowell County, NC, on December 2, 1941, to the late Edward Peeler England and Lola Holcombe England. He was married Carolyn Wilson England, who also preceded him in death. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was very passionate about music and enjoyed playing the guitar and mandolin. He also loved gardening and fishing.

     In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
