Beverly Beryl Clement Woody

Beverly Beryl Clement Woody passed away at the home of her son, William, 20 days after losing her husband of 68 years.

Born in Bangor, Maine, she graduated from Higgins Academy in 1957.

She married James B. Woody of Marion in 1957 and lived in many parts of the world through family postings in the Air Force. They moved back to Marion in 1995, and she worked at Condrey Heating & Air for many years.

She loved her sewing and crafting projects and was most proud of the wedding dress made for her daughter, Adena. Her home in Marion was always a stopping point whenever her extended family traveled. Her laughs, wit, and smiling face will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Beryl Dyer Clement; husband, James B. Woody; daughter, Adena Woody Hillman (Don); and five siblings, Ada Nason, Frieda McLaughlin, Frederick Clement, George Clement, and Kim.

She is survived by three sons, Bryate Woody (Shari), Edward Woody (Tammy Thornton), Bill Woody (Charissa); eight grandchildren; and three siblings, Paula Smith, Theron Clement, and James Clement.

Burial will be private at the Woody Cemetery in Burnsville.
