Beverly Ann Grindstaff Romine

Beverly Ann Grindstaff Romine 65, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends.

Beverly was born in McDowell County on January 3, 1958 to the late Paul Grindstaff and Lorene Jordan Grindstaff. She attended Old Fort Free Will Baptist Church. Beverly enjoyed visiting antique stores, thrift shops, trade lots and making people laugh. She also enjoyed singing but mostly spending time with her family. Beverly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving Beverly are her husband of forty nine years, Donnie Romine; two children, Kim Burnette (Chris) and Jamie Romine; two sisters, Paula Elliott (Steve) and Ruby McCormick (David); two grandchildren, Amber Burnette and her fiance’ (Bradley) and Kasey Finley (Luke) along with two great grandchildren, Cooper Finley and Hunter Ledford.

A funeral service will be held at Old Fort Free Will Baptist Church on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 3:00 pm with the Revs. Heath Ogle, Rick Wood and Lattie Slagle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the church. Burial will take place following the service at The Glenwood Cemetery.
