Betty Jean Lanning Parris, 67, of Marion, passed away at her residence on the morning of Saturday, August 10, 2024.
Betty was born in Jackson County, NC to the late Bernice Robinson Lanning on January 11, 1957. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting. Betty was a wonderful mom and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving Betty are her longtime partner, Terry Freeman; her two daughters, Rebecca Mathis (Melvin) and Autumn Coke (Dustin); her six grandchildren, Makayla, Michael, Amanda, Preston, Jaden and Buzzy.
In keeping with Betty's wishes no services will be held.
