Betty Ann Holtsclaw

     Betty Ann Hoesman Holtsclaw, 74, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her residence.

     Betty was born in Charlotte, NC, on July 20, 1951, to the late John E. Hoesman, Jr. and Myrtle Helms Hoesman. Betty was a faithful Christian and devoted her life to reading the bible and daily prayer. Betty had a deep appreciation for art and music. She was an avid collector of cobalt glass and anything heart shaped. Betty loved to write and was fond of poetry. Most of all, Betty loved spending time with her family and enjoyed preparing for their visits. She will be greatly missed.

     In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Morgan.

     Those left to cherish her memory include two children, Christy Wilson (Allen) and Bobby Stiers (Kim); a sister, Janinea Sloan (Jerry); a brother, William Hoesman (Guynita); four grandchildren, Chelsie Wright (Zach), Clay Wilson (Madison), Jasmine Morgan (Hunter), and Gracie Greer; six great grandchildren, Jonas & Ava-Kate Wright, Oaklyn & Carter Wilson, and Haven & Zayden Morgan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
