Bethany Lee Smith Brown

Bethany Lee Smith Brown, of Taylorsville, was too soon taken from her family on January 16, 2025.

She was born in Alexander County on December 2, 1983 to Brenda Lee Barnes and the late Danny Lee Barnes.

Bethany enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting special items for her family and friends. She also liked fixing desserts. Known as a very positive and helpful person, she loved spending time with her beloved children. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her mother, Brenda Barnes, she is survived by three children, Zion Brown, Allison Brown, and Ava Swaney; and her sister, Jenna Laywell.

A private family service will be held at a later time.
