Barbara Ann Noblitt Webb

Barbara Ann Noblitt Webb, 83, of Marion, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Autumn Care of Marion.

A native of McDowell County, she was born December 12, 1942 to the late Lawrence Hobert Noblitt and Cora Lee Poteat Noblitt.

Barbara loved children, and she lovingly helped raise a number of children throughout her life. She was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed cooking, flowers, and tending to the needs of her home. She loved owls and had a large collection of them. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Webb; daughter, Pegi Webb; and her siblings, Nora Mae Woody, Vinna Branch, and Floyd Noblitt.

She is survived by her son, Roger Webb, and several nieces and nephews, including Chris Cheek.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
