Barbara Jean Greene Robinson

Barbara Jean Greene Robinson, 88, of Nebo, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026 at her home surrounded by her beloved family.

A native of Bakersville, North Carolina, she was born on January 21, 1938 to the late Townzle Greene and Marvalean Willis Greene.

Known as a hard worker, Barbara held many jobs throughout the years. Most notably, she formerly co-owned and operated Forest City Pallet Company with her late husband. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her yard. More than anything, Barbara was a believer who loved her Lord. She read her Bible often and knew it very well. She wanted all she knew and loved to join her in Heaven.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Robinson, and all her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by three children, Debbie Warren (Billy), Cindy McKinney, and Rex Robinson (Bridget); nine grandchildren, Tish (John), Marcy, Tabitha (Tworivers), Ricky (Ashley), Alex (Jeremiah), Ace, Jag, Reese (Daniel), and Dash; ten great-grandchildren, Sky, Khloe, Addison, Bryson, Cade, Cassidy (Matt), Blake, Kenzley, Briley, and Harvie; and a great-great-grandchild, Baby Asher, who is on the way.

In accordance with her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Wilson-Ballew Cemetery.
