Barbara Jean Randolph

     Barbara Jean Howell Randolph, 71, of Marion, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at Mission Hospital McDowell.

     Barbara was born in Mitchell County, NC, on February 28, 1951, the late George Howell and Vertie Mae Hollifield Howell. She was married to her husband of 25 years, Tice Randolph, Sr. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was devoted to her family and was known for her big heart. She enjoyed going to yard sales, but mostly, spending time with her family.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Elliott.

     She is survived by her husband, Tice Randolph Sr.; two children, Regina Howell and Autumn Helms (Britt); three step children, Tice James Randolph, Beverly Randolph, and Lisa Burleson (Chris); a twin sister, Betty Randolph; eight grandchildren Brandon, Porsha, Tyler, Hannah, Lily, Copen, Skylar and Satchel; four great grandchildren and one on the way.

     A funeral will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion. Entombment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
