Barbara Ann Baird Patton

On the night of Wednesday, September 29, 2021, Barbara Ann Baird Patton passed away at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Burke County on December 21, 1934 to the late William and Minnie Belle Barrett Baird.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hezekiah Patton and one granddaughter, Tasha Patton.

Barbara was a member of Pinnacle United Methodist Church and served with the REACT in Burke County. She was a member of the Women of the Moose for over twenty years. She was the activities director for twenty-one years at Deer Park Nursing Center. Barbara was known as a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Barbara is survived by three children, Roger Patton (Denise), Randy Patton, Debra Patton Wilson and one sister, Katherine Baker (Bill). Also surviving Barbara are five grandchildren, Johnathon Patton (Karen), Jessica Patton, Elisha Presnell (Chad), Jason Patton (Brittany), Bobby Patton and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.
