Barbara Jean Searcy Freeman

Barbara Jean Freeman, 85, of Nebo, passed away October 18, 2022 at home under Hospice Care. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known as a great Christian lady who attended church all her life.

She is preceded in death by husband, Felix Freeman; parents, Julian and Leona Searcy and siblings Lois, Boyce and Diane.

Barbara is survived by her son, Chris Freeman (Annette); daughter, Brenda Kelly (Eddie); six grandchildren, Mandy, Christopher, Bridget (Jerry), Casey (Cole), Chelsea (Brandon), Cody (Tiffany) and eight great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the chapel. Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.
