Barbara Diane Philbeck Branch

Barbara Diane Philbeck Branch, born on August 22, 1962, entered eternal rest on May 2, 2025, at Memorial Mission in Asheville.  

Diane was a woman of deep faith, whose love for her Lord Jesus was evident in all aspects of her life. She was known for her wonderful singing voice. In addition to her musical talents, she found joy in crafting.

Diane will be dearly missed by her loving family, which includes her daughter, Daffney Branch; her sister, Debra P. Chippeaux (Michael); and her brothers, Daniel Eugene Philbeck and Paul Franklin Philbeck. She was a cherished grandmother to Brianna Smith, Kelsey Smith, and Victoria Brown. Diane was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Faith Maloney, Isaiah Maloney, Katie Smith and Trace Chippeaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Philbeck and Barbara Turner Philbeck.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
