Babi Gail Morrow

Babi Gail Morrow, 57, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on October 26, 1967 to Bobby Morrow and the late Arzella Wilson Morrow.

Babi was born on the George Air Force Base in Victorville, California, but she made Marion her lifelong home. She found joy in simple activities like playing with her beads and squeaky toys. She was affectionately called “Boo Girl” by her family and friends. She will forever be remembered as a true social butterfly who never met a stranger. Whether on a picnic with family and friends or on one of her enjoyable trips to Walmart and Bealls, people everywhere recognized Babi for the profound impact she had on their lives.

Babi enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music, and she was a very observant person. She always lit up a room with her joyful attitude and deep love for life. All who knew her considered it a privilege to have her in their lives. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her parents, Bobby and Betty Morrow; her longtime caregivers, Leah Lonon, Rick Lonon, Alex Szlamczynski, and Aeriel Szlamczynski Davis (Caden); beloved worker, Erica Furr; and her brother, Keith Morrow (Pat).

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Rick Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
