Ashley Paige Norman

Ashley P. Norman, age 24, of Morganton, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Carolina’s Healthcare-Blue Ridge. A native of Burke County, Ashley was born on February 9, 1994.  

She enjoyed playing basketball and going to the beach. Ashley was known to have a big heart and a free spirit. She loved everyone especially her family.

Ashley leaves behind to cherish her memories, her parents, Mike and Becky Norman; biological parents, Robert Duckworth and Nancy Woods; one son, Isaiah Norman; one step-son, Isaiah Brittain; siblings, Melissa Michaels (Gary), Michael Norman, Jr., Katie Mayfield (Wayne), Stephanie Helton, Zoey Patterson and Robert Collins. Also surviving Ashley are special friends, Cassie Bender, Ashley Phillips, Randolph Patton; fourteen nieces and nephews and her fiancé Travis Brittain.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A celebration of Ashley’s life will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Fork Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Cogdell officiating. The interment will take place after the service at Fork Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
