Arlie Paul Cooper, Jr.

     Arlie Paul Cooper, Jr., 75, of Union Mills, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at Rutherford Hospital.

     Arlie was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on September 10, 1948 to the late Arlie Paul Cooper, Sr. and Celest Katherine Willy Cooper. He was married to Dorothy Cooper, who also preceded him in death. Arlie proudly served his country in the United States Navy, with whom her retired after many years of dedicated service. He was also an avid bowler and animal enthusiast. Arlie will be greatly missed by his many friends and loved ones. 

     Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Rose Rose and Ruth Ingerson (Leon); four brothers, Edward Cooper, George Cooper (Erin), Robert Cooper (Doreen), and Jimmy Cooper (Kathy); many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. 

     A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
