Ann Harris Randolph

Ann Harris Randolph, 89, of Marion, North Carolina, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born on July 13, 1931 to the late Walter B. Harris and Radie Crain.

Ann worked for many years at American Thread before retiring and serving as a caregiver for several families in the area. Her whole life revolved around children, helping somebody, and her Lord. She was the oldest living member of North Cove Church of God. Ann was involved in prison ministry for many years, and she was once Volunteer of the Year, which she was very proud of.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Denver Randolph; ten siblings; and one grandchild, Lacey Randolph.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her seven children, Denny Randolph and wife Ann, Nick Randolph and wife Betty, Bonita Smith, Pam Parker, Chris Randolph, Gena Hall and fiancée Bob Esau, and Tina Randolph; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and friends she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Travis Cooke officiating. Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.

The family will be gathering at the home of Gena Hall and Bob Esau, 961 Plantation Drive, Marion, NC 28752.

Please know that you are in our families thoughts and prayers. She spent her life loving others but most of all, being the hands and feet of Jesus. I love your family. Weve been connected all my life and my heart grieves for you, but rejoices for her.
