Anita Faye Smith

Anita Faye Kirby Smith, age 58, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Memorial Campus-Asheville. She was born in Englewood, California on January 23, 1961 to the late Guy Robert Kirby and Anna Finley Morgan.

Anita had a great sense of humor, she loved to paint by numbers and enjoyed working puzzles.

She is survived by two children, Jessica Caudle (Elizabeth) and Chris Anglin; six siblings, Vanessa Stevenson (Tommy), Robert Kirby, Teresa Powell, Bryan Kirby (Angie), Donald Kirby (Arla) and Kim Braswell. Also surviving Anita are five grandchildren, Dakoda, Jordan, Leityn, Trevyr and Heaven; one great-granddaughter on the way, Peyton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Reverend Brian Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment service will be held at later date.
