With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Andrew Stephenson Miller, who passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Andrew was born on January 15, 1984, in Marion, North Carolina. Throughout his cancer journey, he faced each challenge with remarkable strength, courage, and determination. While cancer may have taken a toll on his body, it never took away the love he had for his family or the faith that carried him through.
Above all else, Andrew loved his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Lacey, and a proud, loving father to his three daughters, Olivia, Sadie, and Violet. His greatest joy was spending time with his girls—whether it was taking them fishing, making memories together, sharing laughs, or simply enjoying time as a family. They were the center of his world, and his love for them was constant and unconditional.
Andrew found great joy in fishing and treasured the peaceful moments spent outdoors. He loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Nebo First Baptist, where his faith gave him strength, hope, and comfort throughout his life.
He leaves behind his wife, Lacey Barham Miller; his father, Steve Miller; mother-in-law, Kandi Barham; father-in-law, Jeff Barham (Laura); children, Olivia Miller, Sadie Miller and Violet Miller; a sister, Jennifer Smith; sister-in-law, Joan Barham; brother-in-law, Alex Barham; cousins, Dwayne, Cindy, Brian, Jonathon, Ashley and Matthew; special aunts and uncles, Helen and Bill Ledford, Joe miller (Kristy) and DonDon Miller.
Although our hearts are broken and we will miss him more than words can express, we find peace in knowing that Andrew is now healed, free from pain, and rejoicing in Heaven. We are thankful that he is no longer hurting and that he is resting in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
Andrew leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, strength, and kindness that will live on in all who knew him. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared and the example of love and perseverance that he gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Nebo First Baptist. Please come as you are. Andrew would have wanted everyone to celebrate him and the life he lived, to share stories, laughter, and love, rather than dwell in sadness.
Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing that Andrew has been made whole. He is no longer fighting, no longer hurting, and is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His love will continue to live on through his wife, Lacey, his daughters, Olivia, Sadie, and Violet, and all who were blessed to know him. Until we meet again, we will love you always.
