Amy Lynn Clark Carey

Amy Lynn Clark Carey, age 52, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A native of McDowell County, North Carolina, she was born on May 27, 1969 and was the daughter of Mary Wilson of Marion, North Carolina and the late Julian Murphy Clark.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa D. Clark Munn who passed away on April 14, 2021.

Amy enjoyed spending time on the beach, loved to laugh and cooking for her friends.

She is survived by, in addition to her mother, one son, Joshua S. Clark; four siblings, Tony Clark, Steve Clark, Christopher Clark and Summer Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. Amy is also survived by two special friends, Veronica Cox and Wanda Toler.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
