I first met Jane Lytle in 1993 when she was my son's Head Start teacher. Fond memory : Peanut, peanut butter...............and JELLY !! Such a beautiful personality. She encouraged me to sign up as a substitute teacher and here I am today, eligible to retire from Head Start. AT work meetings and such, we would share many a laugh with her sidekick Coretha Lytle. I would see her from time to time in Old Fort and we would stop and talk. Yes, she has a new pain free life, happy with her Lord and Savior. Love you Ms. Jane!!

I was privileged to know and work with Ms. Jane. She had a warm and welcoming heart. She understood young children and as a preschool teacher, her wisdom and knowledge touched many lives including mine. She was an awesome asset to McDowell County Schools Head Start Program.
Dear family & friends, I am saddened and so sorry for your loss. May God provide you comfort during this difficult time.
