Albert Earl Stevenson, Jr.

Mr. Albert Earl Stevenson, Jr., age 72, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo.  A native of McDowell County, NC, born August 23, 1943, he was the son of the late Albert Earl Stevenson, Sr. and Peggy Pittman Stevenson. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sparks Stevenson; and one son, Todd Stevenson.

Albert is survived by three sons, Thomas Stevenson, Ronnie Stevenson and Chad Stevenson; one brother, Terry Stevenson; two sisters, Brenda Andrews and Linda Stevenson; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A celebration of Mr. Stevenson’s life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Freewill Baptist Church in Old Fort.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
