Mr. Gallery raced sailboats, out of Columbia Sailing Club, and continued his love of riding The Blue Ridge Parkway on his Harley, up until this year. He was a man of many accomplishments, but if you asked him about himself, his first response would be that he was a man of God, in service to The Lord, and temporary custodian of The Quiet Place. He completed his earthly mission, and returned Home at 7:08 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was at peace, and closer than ever to God. He will be missed, by many, but his ministry work will live on, for many. Fair sailing, good, and faithful servant. Mr. Gallery asked that there be no funeral or memorial service, but that those he loved, and who loved him, memorialize him in their memories, hearts, and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chapel Fund, at The Quiet Place will be gratefully accepted. He was overseeing the construction of a bridge and road, leading up to the site of the chapel in the woods, when he passed.
